Finally, it is the end of March and we like to start April with really good news. Today we received exclusive information according to which Samsung will release new update for their Android running device – Galaxy Tab 2. The South Korean multinational company announced that the featured update – 4.1.2, will be the one of the last ones. Actually the most commonly spread rumor is that 4.2.2 will be the final version that Galaxy Tab 2 will be able to handle.
Keep in mind that in case you want to apply the update of your Galaxy Tab, you will have to do it before the end of September. The good news here is that Samsung wants to update all of its tablets by the end of the second quarter of this year, so we won’t have to wait that long after all. Some of the devices might even skip 4.1.2 and go straight to 4.2.2.
According to some rumors all Samsung devices running on dual-core processors won’t be able to go higher than 4.2.2 and the reason for this is performance issues. Even if your smartphone or tablet has dual-core engine, it is recommended to test the new version release first and see whether or not will run well.
Many people blame Samsung for delaying the updates but as you know there is a price for everything. Believe it or not, but the South Korean company is the only one which has mainly positive feedback on its Android updates. So we might say it is better to wait a little bit longer but have everything done perfectly, rather than just start installing endless patches for bug fixes and performance improvements in order to make the long-awaited update release work the way we want.
