SmartQ N10 Chinese Android Tablet By Smart Devices

The Chinese tablet maker, Smart Devices, announced that they are about to reveal a new tablet running on Android. The model name is expected to be SmartQ N10. However, we do not expect anything innovative from this device simply because it targets the mid-range market. Many people will probably get it because it is one of the leaders in terms of specifications within this price range.

A couple of words about the hardware characteristics – the tablet is going to be equipped with TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor, clocked at 1Ghz. It will be supported by 8GB internal storage for games, apps, music, videos, etc. and 1GB RAM.

Other features that you might find interesting are the 2MP front-facing camera (beating most of its rivals in terms of video conversation quality) and 5MP rear-facing camera. Bluetooth and GPS are also integrated.

Even though the hardware characteristics are not that impressive, it doesn’t mean that the tablet is not suitable for gaming sessions and movie marathons. On the contrary – it is equipped with 700mAh battery ensuring long lifespan.

If we have to be honest, we decided to pay special attention to this device due to another reason – its design. It is true that there are tens of new tablets released daily but almost no of them offers improvements in terms of design and built quality. As you can see from the pictures, Smart Q N10 has been specially designed in order to provide new type of protection. The case has been tested numerous times and so far it has proven its durability despite the fact it is thick 4.4.mm.

Unfortunately we don’t have any additional information regarding the official price of the tablet, but one thing is sure – it won’t be much high because, as we mentioned above, SmartQ N10 is aiming at middle-range tablet market.
