Sharp Aquos 206SH Comes as High End Smartphone

The smartphone market is being expanded daily. This time we would like to redirect your attention to device different from the ones we are used to see from Apple, Samsung, HTC, etc. Unfortunately, the handset will be released only to some countries, which means it will not go around the world. The brand is Sharp and the model – Aquos 206SH. It is said to be officially released in Japan initially. It has been a while since a smartphone from Sharp was released. However, this one has all it takes to become a smartphone leader – 5” 1080p display, S4 Snapdragon pro quad-core processor and 3080mAh battery for all those people who like watching movies on their phones as well as playing games for more than a couple of hours.

We guess we caught your interest, right? The display, in fact, is going to use one really great technology that is not that popular – CS Silicon. And when it gets combined with nice TFT LCD display the final result is more than satisfying. This makes the screen more efficient and thinner. Plus, a special battery-saving mode was designed by Sharp promising the phone’s life to last at least 2 days. The last device we saw with similar battery efficient display was again from Sharp – Aquos Tab SHT21.

However, the latest tests showed that despite the great battery – the results are similar to the ones conducted on Galaxy Note II.

The handset is expected to be released at the beginning of July. It will be released to SoftBank – one of the largest carriers. We almost forgot to mention that the camera will be with wide of f/1.9 aperture and 13MP. There is also TV support function and 4G LTE is also included. The default operating system is 4.2.2 JellyBean. And if you take a closer look at the device you will see it is waterproof.
