Rumors, specifications, and features of a new Samsung device have been surfacing recently. This new smartphone, said to run on the Android 4.1.1 OS (AKA Jelly Bean) is a new Galaxy device named the Samsung GT-B9150 and, from the rumors and specs that we will list below, it seems like this Samsung device will not only be twice as fast as many of the devices currently on the market, but it will also last significantly longer as well. Let’s take a gander at what Samsung says about this new Galaxy smartphone.
The Samsung Gt-B9150 has some impressive specs which we will discuss in more detail later however let’s get the rundown on it’s features. First off this Galaxy phone has a Dual-Core Exynos 5250 processor that runs at 1.7 GHz and it is powered by the new Android 4.1.1 processor ( Jelly Bean). Additionally the screen resolution was leaked as well and it is supposedly 1280 x 672 pixels. Confused on the odd number? Well that supposedly is excluding the button space on the screen so don’t worry!
One of the defining features about the Samsung GT-B9150 is the Exynos 5 Dual-Core Processor it reportedly boasts. Samsung is ecstatic about their new processor and claims that this 1.7GHz processor will be able to perform twice as fast as the Cortex A9 dual-core! Additionally the Exynos 5 processor is reported to consume as much as thirty percent less power than the previous Exynos 4 processor. All in all the new processor should definitely help this new Samsung Galaxy device stand out amongst the stiff competition that is already out on the market!
If you follow in the lines of all the rest of Samsung’s B-series phones you will notice that the B-series phones all have QWERTY keyboards. Based on the rumors and specifications we are tantalized with on this device, we have to wonder if Samsung would truly put such a powerful processor and so high of a resolution in a QWERTY device. Unfortunately Samsung has not made anything about the Samsung GT-B9150 official, so we have no idea yet if this device is actually a smartphone or even a tablet! We do have the 1280 x 672 pixel screen size to help guide us, but with rumors floating about that this device only has Wi-Fi capabilities, that bit of information also suggests that it may in fact be a tablet rather than a smartphone. Only Samsung will be able to confirm or disprove those rumors when they finally make it official!
