Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G LTE : A Budget Friendly Android Smartphone !

A report by Android Central whose source is a leak from an insider at Samsung shows that the company will be releasing the Galaxy Victory 4G LTE pretty soon. This mid-range Android smartphone will have a Qualcomm S4 1.2 GHz processor and a 4-ich display.

Coming from Samsung, the Galaxy Victory 4G LTE will have Touch Wiz touch wizard on top of Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 4.0.4. More specs on the leaked device include NFC and a missing home button, meaning that users will rely on capacitive buttons that are positioned strategically underneath the display, four in number. There is also support for Wi-Fi Direct. The Touch Wiz on this device is the same as on other Samsung phones and does not qualify as an add-on, but a basic feature for choosing Samsung.

For someone looking for the power that comes with the Galaxy S3 but does not want such a big screen, the Galaxy Victory 4G is the best choice because it packs a lot of power and has a small screen, which significantly reduced its overall width and length, making it easy to handle.

The Galaxy Victory’s Network features are CDMA, LTE and UMTS dual-band. With the dual core processor, it will use a MSN8960 Lite version and is only a half-inch thick. The 4-inch screen is a WVGA TFT with 800 x 400 pixels. Internal memory is 4GB, there is a micro SD slot supporting up to 32GB, a mini USB port is there for connectivity, and a headphone phone port that is only 3.5mm, which completes the picture for available openings. With the 2100mAh battery, total available talk time is 7 hours.

The Galaxy Victory 4G has two cameras, a 5-megapixel one on the back, and a 1.3-megapixel one on the front. The camera comes with a 4x optical zoom for the rear one, perhaps necessary because the screen is not all that high definition capable as it would be expected. This could be another way of Samsung saying that lower end smartphones also need processing power, while keeping their standard displays.

The smartphone is headed for Sprint to make full use of the 4G LTE capabilities. Subtle extras that would otherwise go without mention include a Media Hub, Accelerometer, Social Hub, and support for Spanish language. Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy Victory will have an M4 compatible hearing aid, a welcoming feature for the people normally forgotten in the smartphone world.
