The Samsung Galaxy S3 was a major hit in the market as it wowed consumers by its many unique and interesting features. It actually has beaten the iPhone 4 in terms of popularity with the phone being offered for sale in over 28 countries and sales of more than 10 million phones being reported after the launch into other markets.
So does this mean that Apple is shaking in its boots now that it appears to have been overtaken? Well, not quite. Apple sure did something right because statistics and studies show that the yet to be released iPhone 5 is actually the most popular (and anticipated) phone on the planet and it is eagerly being eyed on with its release having been predicted to be in October.
You have to wonder how people can be so in love with a phone whose specs have not even been officially announced yet. This is because Apple has not disappointed so far, and there are areas we dare say that the iPhone beats the Galaxy S3 hands down.
It appears the creators of the Samsung Galaxy S3 did not put in that much thought to their phone design, well compared to those at Apple. The minimalist design of the iPhone that is the brain child of Steve Jobs is preferred much more by many, and the solid black and white colors used for the iPhone are seen to be much better than the playful metallic blue of the Galaxy S3.
While Samsung has a wide range of smartphones in the market, they cannot boast to have any which runs on their very own OS. They rely mainly on the Android and Windows Operating Systems which are good on its own, but cannot offer Samsung the full customizability that would have been available to their own models, were it to run on its own OS. The iPhone5 on the other hand runs on its own operating system (iOS) meaning that it is completely customized for best operations and thus guarantees maximum efficiency.
- Constant Innovation
The iPhone has also earned the reputation of most popular phone in the world due to the constant innovations being undertaken by Apple to enhance it and make it better. iPhone users are almost always certain that there will be something new every year. While Samsung cannot be said to be lacking innovation either, the iPhone is clearly ahead in terms of this, and it is no wonder in the battle between the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5 will certainly come out tops!
So, whose side are you on?
