Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7102) Dual SIM Version Announced Officially – Specs, Features & Price

Some time back, there was news in the market that Samsung is planning to launch a new version of its popular phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note because of a leak in the Chinese market. The news is confirmed now as Samsung has officially announced the dual SIM Galaxy Note II GT-N7102. The device will soon hit the Chinese markets. The official specifications are available on its Chinese site and are quite similar to the Galaxy Note 2 N7100. Let us have a look.

To begin with, the tablet measures 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm and weighs only 182.5g that will be quite comfortable to handle for long hours. one of the most interesting features in the device is the availability of two SIM slots. However, both the slots are different as one uses a SIM of regular size while the other slot accepts a micro SIM. The device supports the GSM 850/900/1, 800/1, 900 MHz and WCDMA 850/900/1, 900/2100 MHz network.

When it comes to display, the handset offers a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED high definition screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. With that kind of specs, one can expect an amazing and crisp display. Powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU along with 16 GB ROM and 2 GB RAM the fablet will be fast enough and would offer quick results. It comes with android 4.1 on board which is like icing on the cake.

Coming to other features, the device offers two cameras; one a rear 8 mega pixel camera and another 1.9 megapixel camera for video calling. One can also record high definition videos with it. The presence of the microSD slot gives you an option to upgrade the storage to 64 GB. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, 3G, WI-FI etc. The 3100 mAh ensures that you can use it for long on a single charge. It is available in marble white color and comes with an s-pen.

Galaxy Note II Dual SIM

The dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to be available in the Chinese markets in December 2012 and will cost somewhere around ¥5699 (approximately $900). However, there has been no official announcement about the carriers with which it will be available or when it will be shipped in other international markets.
