When Samsung has launched the non-4G version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 sometime back, a lot of us were disappointed to know that Samsung had no plans to launch the LTE versions for a few months, but it was quite expected that the wait would be worth it. Now, the company has launched the LTE version of the tablet. It is available only in the Korean market as of now but it would be soon hitting the other markets as well.
The phone was very eagerly awaited because the tablet will offer some amazing connectivity speeds. Not only that, it was also speculated that the tablet will be available with on board android 4.1 jelly bean version. And now when it has finally released, it looks like the speculations were right.
This 10 inch tablet is available with the three major carrier networks in Korea i.e. KT Telecom, SK Telecom, and LG U+. What’s interesting in the tablet apart from JB is the VoLTE support that allows you to transmit voice calls over the LTE network. Apart from that, there are a host of features that will grab your attention. To begin with, the multi-window format allows you to operate to different windows on a single screen that makes multitasking a little easier. If you love watching pictures on your tablet then the Air View feature is for you. It will enable you to browse through all your pictures without the need to search different folders. Last but not the least, the easy clip feature enables you to select text and images as well as draw on the screen using the S pen.
The tablet supports S pen that can be used to portray your creativity at its best. Apart from that, all the other specifications are similar to the models available in the other markets. It is also powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz Exynos processor and has 2 GB RAM. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels that offers a sharp display. The 7,000 mAh battery ensures that your tablet runs for long. The tablet has a front facing 1.9 megapixels camera as well as a 5 megapixels back camera. The device does not lack in connectivity options as well and supports Bluetooth 4.0. There are different versions available depending upon the internal storage which can be expanded with the help of a micro SD card.
The LTE version is expected to arrive in other markets including the US before the year ends but currently everybody is looking out for upgrades for the existing tablet by Samsung. One can either wait for the upgrade for their tablet or can try their hands on the new one.
