Samsung Galaxy Chat (B5330) Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Rolls Out

If you own a Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 then you should definitely take a look at this article because it will give you great news. Soon all Galaxy Chat owners will have the chance to update their devices to a new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version. The fact why this information is so great is because B5330 is one of Samsung’s not-so-popular handsets. Actually it was one of the last devices that were released in the end of last year. You should consider yourself lucky in case you live in Spain because the firmware can be downloaded and installed via KIES there. However, don’t rush buying your ticket to Spain if you are not there right now, because the update is expected to be released soon in rest of the world.

Samsung Galaxy Chat (B5330)

Launched initially in August 2012,Galaxy Chat was not able to catch the attention of the hardcore Android fans because of its mediocre specifications – 3” touchscreen display (320 x 240 resolution), GPS support, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi, QWERTY keyboard, only 2MP rear-facing camera and 850MHz processor trying to make all those things work as good as possible. As for the internal memory – it was 4GB – expandable via microSD. It won’t be a lie if we tell that nobody expected 4.2 Jelly Bean to be available for this device. The main reason is because this particular Android version aims at more high-end market smartphones, while B5330 is far from the high-range device market.

Once again, it is really great that Samsung provide long-term support even for their budget handsets. Plus, when you add the fact that the South Korean giant always develops the firmware really well and without any major bugs, you have one more reason to go and buy affordable phone from this manufacturer. Be sure that you will not make a mistake with Galaxy Chat – you will have all those great functions that expensive phones have and all this thanks to 4.1 Jelly Bean.
