Those of you who live in the UK and had your mind set on purchasing the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 LTE the moment it went on sale, can now pre-order the SIM-free version of the device for £239.99. For the amount we mentioned, you would be able to pre-order the device in its unlocked form and this amount also includes the VAT. But, if you were hoping that this means you would soon get to hold the Galaxy Ace 3LTE in your hands, you are sadly mistaken. News is that the device won’t begin shipping before September, which still is a good two months away.
Well, if you opt for this pre-order option, you at least can take solace in the fact that although there is still time for you to start making calls with the Galaxy Ace 3 LTE, you would be one of the first in the UK to do so. It was being hoped that the device would start shipping this month itself, but it seems Samsung had other plans. As most of you are aware, Samsung officially let us all know about the existence of the Galaxy Ace 3, in the beginning of June. Most of you are also aware about all this device has on offer, but for the benefit of those not in the know, let us go over the specs and features of this device once again.
To begin with, the Galaxy Ace 3 sports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen that has a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The Galaxy Ace 3 LTE version that shall be going on sale in the UK is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The device has been equipped with 1 GB of RAM and the LTE version has been provided an internal storage capacity of 8 GB, which you can further expand to not more than 64 GB, using a microSD card. In the rear, the device has been fitted with a 5 MP camera that is accompanied by an LED flash. In the front the device sports a VGA camera.
The Galaxy Ace 3 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and the LTE version has been packed with an 1800 mAh battery. Besides Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, the LTE version of the Galaxy Ace 3 also supports NFC. In retrospect, those of you in the UK, who have decided to purchase this device, would be glad to know that the Galaxy Ace 3 LTE in terms of specs has an edge over the regular version. In other words, it’s worth the wait.
