Nokia has bring in good news for all the budget conscious users with the launch of its latest mobile phone called Nokia Lumia 520 which is also considered to be the lowest priced Windows 8 device by the company. Measuring 119.9 X 64 X 9.9 mm in size, the device weighs around 124 grams and has the cushion shape like its other siblings in the Lumia family. Within the monoblock touch form factor of the phone lies 10.16 cms of true color IPS display that supports WVGA resolution along with 235ppi. The super sensitive touch screen technology of the display enables you to use the phone even with your fingernails as well as while wearing gloves. The display also features 15:9 aspect ratio, ambient light sensor and orientation sensor. For all those users who need to talk for long hours, Lumia 520 will prove to be an apt choice as its 1430 mAh of battery is capable of providing 14.8 hours of talk time on 2G mode, 9.6 hours of talk time on 3G mode, 360 hours of standby time, 61 hours of music playback time and 6.7 hours of browsing time.
The phone comes loaded with dual core Qualcomm processor that is clocked at 1.5GHz and offers decent performance to the users. Running on Windows 8 OS the device features 512MB RAM, 8GB of built in storage and external memory expansion that is made possible with the use of microSD card slot. For capturing images, a 5 MP camera with AF is present in the phone that supports resolution count of up to 2592 X 1936 pixels. The camera also features 4x digital zoom so that even far away objects are captured clearly. In USA the handset will be made available through T Mobile in spite of not having the LTE support whereas in China it will be available through China Mobile. It is expected to come with a price tag of € 139 before any subsidies and the taxes.
