Motorola XFON – General Thoughts and Rumors

We have some news regarding Motorola’s long anticipated device – XFON. Yet, the internet is crammed with rumors stating that the handset will be officially announced pretty soon. As a matter of fact there are lots of images that you can take a peak of, if you are expecting the device. In some images you can see the phone put in dummy case – another thing that rise suspicious thoughts having in mind that all new handsets are put in such cases in order to be hidden from the public. This makes us thing that it is a matter of time until the XFON sees the world.

The Motorola logo can be spotted on the top left corner which can be considered as the first innovation here, having in mind all previous models of the brand. The earpiece is also slightly different, but as a whole looks similar to Motorola’s recent models.

People interested in the software of XFON should know that the device is expected to come with Android. On some pictures, found easily on internet, AT&T logo can be seen which means that this is probably going to be the first mobile carrier that will stock its shelves with the handset.

What attracted our attention was the back of the phone. The material looks really solid, probably Kevlar or something of this kind. This is actually not surprising news, keeping in mind the fact that Motorola has always been paying serious attention to the built quality of their devices.

However, the device is not expected to come soon and because of this reason there are not any hardware specifications that could be found on internet. The only thing we managed to put our hands on was the device will probably come with quad-core processor, but nothing more in details. Probably when the device is being officially released, Android 5.0 will be its default Android version.
