Motorola Mobility is all primed-up for the holiday rush with the unveiling of yet another top-tier smartphone – Motorola RAZR i. This Intel-based smartphone is the fourth offering by this Google-owned smartphone maker for this month. The RAZR i black version is slated to be launched in Europe and in various parts of America sometime next month. No further details have been released yet by Motorola aside from the confirmation that the official launch in Europe and parts of Latin America will cover select markets in the UK, Germany, France, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.
The Motorola RAZR i, despite having achieved top-end billing, still scores additional points for its rugged looks. Its branding is anchored on being the first Motorola Android smartphone which is powered by the “Medfield” mobile chips of Intel. The 2GHz single-core processor under its hood is coupled with 1GB RAM. The Motorola Mobility device is shipped with Android v 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and the OS can be upgraded to Jelly Bean.
On the other hand, the key features of the Motorola RAZR i include Bluetooth ver 2.1, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi with hotspot and DLNA functionality, microUSB ver 2.0.
