This is what we call a great tablet. LuvPad WN1100 is different than all those devices that you can get! And do you know why? Well, mainly because of its operating system. More than 90% of tablets worldwide are running on Android or iOS, but do you have any alternative in case you are not a huge fan of those two operating systems? Now you have! WN1100 is expected to be running on Windows 8.
Except for the OS, LuvPad has a couple more features that make it a special tablet. Probably the thing that makes it stand out most is the AMD Z60 chip. It is a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz and with integrated graphics adapter – Radeon HD6250. The resolution is set to 1920x1080p while the screen size is 11.6”. There are 2GB of RAM and pretty solid storage space – 128GB.
According to the people who tested it, in terms of performance, AMD’s chip is as slow (or fast, depending on the perspective) as Intel’s Atom series. However, there were many superlatives for the graphics performance. It is claimed to be really amazing thanks to Radeon HD6250 which also supports 3D and HD video.
Unfortunately, there is bad news. Like most of Mouse Computer’s devices, LuvPad WN1100 will not be available for people outside Japan. Or at least not in the near couple of months! Anyway, if you live in Japan you will not have any problems getting the tablet. The price is pretty good as well – 600$. We are more than sure that this tablet will win lots of fans due to its AMD chip and operating system. After all, not many tablets are running on Windows 8. We hope that sooner we will start seeing more gadgets running on this OS.
