LG Optimus G Pro (L-04E) Announced Officially – Specs, Features & Release Date

What was rumored to be LG’s new flagship on Smartphones this year has finally been revealed in the form of the LG Optimus G Pro. It can be noted that many are looking forward for the great features that will come with this latest release of the Optimus G Pro mobile generation. Mobile users are delighted to know that the phone will be available in a wider 5.5 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 HR resolutions for quality viewing from your LCD screen. As predicted by mobile fanatics, the LG Optimus G Pro does come with improved features and specifications that will delight Smartphone users.

Optimus G Pro officially graced Japan’s market as was rumored in the past months and its official announcements were made by the NTT Docomo. Expect to enjoy its 1.7 GHz SnapDragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor and the 2GB of RAM. Many LG mobile fanatics are howling for the 3,000 mAh battery and now they can have it to their pleasure in the LG Optimus G Pro. As compared to the previously released Optimus G device, this year’s LG flagship for their Smartphone product in the Pro generation is about 1.5mm thicker because of the new battery overhaul for the device. While this makes it a lot bulkier than the first generation of the Optimus G that comes with the 2,100 mAh battery form but it will be worth it.

LG is planning to have some software enhancements that will make the device more appealing with a better Jelly Bean feature. The mobile is optimized with the LG applications that come in a small widget called slide apps that aim to level up with Sony Xperia Z. While trying to keep the device atop its other competitors, LG is making a remarkable improvements to its video feature that allows its user to record two videos simultaneously using its front and rear cameras. More quality photo and video may be taken using its 13 MP rear video camera feature that interestingly optimized for vlogging video on YouTube.

NTT Docomo will release the Optimus G Pro in the colors of Platinum and Indigo Black. However, you should expect more surprises when LG releases the Smartphone in other countries and it just might be in other color variations. It is believed that LG released their flagship earlier this year in order to upkeep with the latest release of Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5 in the market in the past months. Some speculate that the mobile model was merely rushed in its release in order to meet its competition head on. However, LG apparently devise their own plan of releasing new phone models in the first half of the year in order to upkeep with their market competitors.

With these compelling new features from LG, you can expect that some tweaks were made in order to make the product more enticing among mobile users. Apparently, LG is planning for a global roll out of their products within the year. Among the other promising feature that come with the G Pro model is its GPU on Andreno 320, Wi-fi capability, Bluetooth connectivity, 3.5 mm audiojack, micro USB, digital compass, GPS support and 160 gram weight. This is just the first wave of the official announcement of the LG flagship for 2013 and you can expect that more announcements will soon be released on the perks that LG has to offer to their subscribers.
