Those owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in South Korea are going to be getting a long anticipated treat this December. The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is being released for several different versions of the Galaxy S3. Owners of the SHW-M440S, SHV-E210L and SHV-E210K will get this update after many users in the rest of the world have already gotten the official 4.1.1 Jelly Bean updates. Users in Poland were lucky enough to be the first country to have an official Android 4.1.2 upgrade, so now we are just waiting to see who gets the upgrade next.
Note that the Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update is already available on Kies ( Samsung’s Sync Service ) , and may be available as an OTA ( over the air ) update depending on your carrier. By installing this update, users will notice that they get a few new features found on the Galaxy Note 2. A newer keyboard layout, smart rotation, and the multi-view function brings the latest advancements in the Galaxy’s intuitive interface. You will also find more 3D effects in the gallery, and a few other notable features that make mobile browsing a better, overall smoother experience.
