Huawei Honor 3 – The Next Chinese Flagship

Great news from Huawei! The Chinese manufacturer is going to surprise its fans once again with a new device. It will not only feature great specifications, but as seen on pictures, its design is really sleek. We can’t hide the fact that more and more smartphone companies started paying attention to the materials they use on their handsets. It is definitely a good improvement.

However, then new device will get the name Huawei Honor 3. The news was officially announced on Weibo. The successor of Honor 2 will hit the shelves of many stores somewhere in June. Of course many specialists stated their opinion on the device. According to most people the smartphone will blow up the market thanks to its characteristics. Plus, it is always great to know that a certain company gives its best to present its latest flagship device. And speaking of high-end device, Honor 3 will be equipped with Hisilicon K3V3 quad-core processor which has been specially designed for the handset.

There are some other technical specifications that we managed to put our hands on – the ram is going to be 2GB while the display, as expected, full HD. The rear-facing camera is also greatly improved because it is not 13MP and has many features allowing the user to take great pictures while on the go. The operating system will be 4.2 Jelly Bean. According to other rumor, the flagship device will have GPU Mali T658 which showed more than amazing results on some benchmarks. It is considered to be 10 times better than Mali 400MP which is implemented on Exynos 4 quad-core that can be found on Samsung’s high-end devices.

However, as we said above, probably the greatest innovation here is the aluminum case. Huawei’s designers did one more incredible thing – they managed to make the device pretty thin – 6.3mm.

There is nothing much to do except wait. But we guess that many people will prefer Huawei’s flagship rather than the current two hits – Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One – the only thing that might stop us from getting Honor 3 is the price – let’s just hope that the Chinese manufacturer will set it right.
