AT&T Sony Xperia J Gets Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update

AT&T Sony Xperia J is the latest family member of Sony Xperia range to get the Android 4.1.2 OS update.  This latest OTA update has the kernel version number 3.4 and the firmware version 11.2.A.0.21 with size of around 392MB. The update will bring in all the expected feature s of the update like Project butter, enhanced page of notification, Google Now and others so that users can enjoy the enhanced communication experience on their device.

Lets again have a look at the features of Sony Xperia J that was launched with Android ICS along with Qualcomm 1GHz of Cortex A5 processor and Adreno 200 GPU.  Physically the handset measures 124.3 X 61.2 X 9.2mm in size with weight of around 124 grams. There is TFT capacitive touch display in the phone that measures 4 inches in size and is manufactured with Corning Gorilla Glass. The display offers good content quality through its support to 245ppi pixel density and features Timescape UI and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine.  The internal memory of the device is 4GB and expansion of external memory up to 32GB is made possible through microSD card slot.  Basic connectivity options comes packed with the phone which include microUSB 2.0, GPRS, WiFi, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP+EDR and HSDPA.

The 5 MP of snapper present in the Sony Xperia J features LED Flash, Image stabilization, AF, Touch Focus and Geo Tagging.  VGA video recording is also made possible with the camera present in the phone. Additional multimedia options include VGA secondary camera, FM Radio with RDS, multi format music player and video player.  Additional specifications of the phone include Li-ion 1750 mAh battery, 3.5mm jack, 512MB RAM, accelerometer sensor, compass, proximity sensor, push email facility and others.  So just update your Xperia J handset with Android 4.1.2 OS to have an all new experience.
