Apple has recently come out with their iOS 6.1.2 Update which is a minor point update and small in size with just 12.8 MB. The update will be available for iPhone 3GS and later models, iPhone 5, iPad 2 and later models and iPod touch 4th generation and its later models. This latest update will help to fix the problem of battery drain that was specially experienced by the ones who were using the Microsoft Exchange Calendar. The Exchange calendar bug was causing increased usage and activity of the network that further led to the problem of battery drain and now this update will help to fix this bug.
It was expected that passcode bypass issue that was created in the iOS 6.1.1 update will be fixed by this latest update but now it seems that company will come out with another update to fix this issue. The iOS 6.1.1 update created a vulnerability that enabled one to bypass the password protection present on the device through a series of button combinations. On the company’s site, the download ID of the Apple iOS 6.1.2 Update has been mentioned as: DL1639 and the update will be supported in various different languages for the convenience of the users.
