Acer Iconia Tab A220 Leaked by GLBenchmark – Specs and Features

Acer is all prepared to hit the market once again with its all new tablet, the Acer Iconia Tab A220. The tablet is believed to be a successor of the existing tablet, the Iconia Tab A210. If the leaks from GLBenchmark are to be trusted then it has confirmed its existence. GLBenchmark is known for revealing new devices even before the manufactures introduce them or announce them. In such a scenario, when there is a device with the same name in its database, it is bound to create some excitement around. With the little information, we get to know about some hardware and software specifications.

It is speculated that new tablet will be packed with some amazing specifications. According to the leaks at the benchmark, the tablet will be flaunting the latest android OS 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet will be powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor. However, we cannot say anything about the looks of the tablet since there are no photos available as of now.

The tablet screen will have a resolution of 1280 x 752 though the screen size is still not available. One can speculate it to be a 7-inch tablet something on the same lines like the recent Acer Iconia A700 tablet. With that the screen size, this resolution will be a great display to work on. However, it can be a 10-inch tablet with a different resolution but in any case the upcoming tablet will be worth waiting.

One cannot completely rely on these specifications, but if the tablet actually is integrated with these then the tablet will be a great competition for the existing tablets like Microsoft surface and apple iPad. There is still no information available on its price and by when it would be available in the market but a few people believe that Acer will launch its new tablet in the market just before the holiday and shopping season. Whatever it is, we will keep you posted on any new details or news about the tablet.
